This display piece was created for the former TerrainThralls website. It was done as a contest entry for Ambrose Coddington to join the group.
The spikes that rise out of the ground are vacuum formed lexan with an epoxy putty coating. They are lit from within by three LEDs.
The rock texture was created by using wall joint compound applied approximately 1/2” thick. Once dry the wall joint compound was scrubbed with a steel wire brush.
